INFUSE

artist development for mid-career and established artists

About INFUSE

INFUSE is a programme of Artist Development opportunities curated by Babel in partnership with Chisenhale Dance Space.

It aims to inject energy, life and support into the driving force of the arts industry … the artists. The front line artists who fall between all of the cracks.

‘Too old’ for that opportunity, ‘not enough experience’ for that one, too established to be emerging, not considered high profile enough for that funding.

INFUSE offers low cost, professional training opportunities for movers and shakers who already have a good level of experience and find it difficult to receive high level training, as it would normally come at the cost of: rent, family, holiday, actual time resting.

This year we have curated 3 residencies facilitated by artists at the forefront of contemporary performance around the world.

We have worked hard to secure partnerships that let us price a week long intensive at half the price of the standard rate so that it is not a choice between self development and survival.

In 2024 we want to see more artists thrive.
