A free online workshop on ACE DYCP funding, with access support for neurodivergent and disabled artists
🗓 Saturday 19th April | 🕛 12:00–1:30pm | 💻 Online via Zoom
Workshop Overview
Applying for Arts Council’s Develop Your Creative Practice (DYCP) grant can feel confusing, overwhelming — and inaccessible.
This free workshop is here to shift that.
Led by Andy Mandoiu — a creative producer and access support writer who’s raised over £1.1 million for artists across theatre, dance, music, fine art and more — we’ll break down the DYCP process in a clear, supportive, and artist-first way.
This session is open to anyone interested in applying for DYCP, with a particular focus on neurodivergent and disabled artists. We’ll cover how access support works, how to ask for it, and how to shape an application that feels aligned with your practice and compelling to read.
What We’ll Cover
What makes a strong DYCP application
Understanding the structure, questions, and timeline
How to build an application that’s aligned and compelling
Access support: what it is, how to ask, and how it helps
Producing and bid-writing support available through Babel
