Be a part of a new professional creative youth company based in Brixton!

We are looking for 10 young people aged 16-25 to join us on Thursday evenings for 3 weeks to be a part of a new professional theatre training company.

About Babel:

Babel are a multi-award winning theatre company from Lambeth.

Pronounced Bey-bell and ‘meaning the sound of many voices’ we make raw, powerful, exciting performances that express the modern experience of living.

Our shows have toured all over the UK and been programmed as part of The Guardians ‘A Nation’s Theatre’ representing the very best of theatre across the UK. We now teach at the best drama schools and creative institutions across the country including Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of Arts London, East 15 Acting School and lead our own workshops all across the world.

About the workshops

In 2024 we are starting a professional training company in our home of Lambeth, for young people aged 16-25. We want to create direct pathways into the creative industries for our Lambeth community, whilst creating more opportunities in our home and working to reduce youth violence and isolation and improve mental health and wellbeing.

This October and November we want to link up, connect and find out what you want from a new youth service in Lambeth
